LabsLedger was built because we couldn't find a lab tracking tool that respected both our privacy and our intelligence. Every existing solution either shipped your data to a server, required a subscription to access your own results, or treated you like you couldn't handle raw numbers.
We built LabsLedger for people who take regular bloodwork — biohackers, health-conscious individuals, and anyone who wants to understand what their lab results mean over time — without compromising their privacy.
Privacy by Architecture
Privacy isn't a feature we added — it's how LabsLedger was built. There are no servers receiving your data. No analytics tracking your usage. No "anonymous" telemetry measuring your behavior.
We literally cannot see your data, even if we wanted to.
All your health information — lab results, PDFs, personal data — is stored exclusively on your device in a sandboxed database. If you choose to use iCloud, that's between you and Apple. We are never in the loop.

The Technology
LabsLedger is a native macOS application built with SwiftUI and Swift. It uses Apple's Vision framework for OCR, GRDB.swift for local database management, and follows MVVM architecture with a repository pattern for clean, testable code.
We're proud of what's under the hood: 900+ seeded biomarker definitions with demographic-aware reference ranges, dual-path PDF parsing with confidence scoring, 40+ unit conversions, and type-aware visualization for everything from quantitative values to titer results.
